Each of us has done something "bad" during our life (it doesn't always have to be something big). Have you ever lied, including white lies, stolen, coveted someone else's property in your thoughts...? There are countless examples. We would never be able to pay the debt that has accumulated on us from bad deeds, i.e. sins. How can we get rid of it and get all our sins forgiven so that your conscience can be cleansed and a new life can begin?

The Bible says that we have all sinned, and therefore we all need God's mercy and forgiveness so that we don't have to suffer in eternal punishment, damnation, because of our sins.

Jesus paid our sin debt, the debt that really you and I should have paid, but we never could have. In order for us to receive God's promised forgiveness and love, we must personally ask Jesus into our lives. Receiving Jesus means that you believe that Jesus is the one who He says He is: the Son of God, your Savior. It also means that you ask Him to rule your life and make you a new creation (see the Gospel of John 3:1-8).

Jesus didn't just die for our sins. He also rose from the dead (see 1 Corinthians 15:3–6). He has all te power to promise eternal life, because He is the only way to God. He wants to lead you along the path of everlasting life, and same time bless you already here on earth. God has a plan for your life, and His plan for His children is good (Jer. 29:11)! Would you like to be part of God's family, a child of Heavenly Father?

If you don't want to be as the master of your own life, or life has become too heavy, or you have come to the point where you want to break free from the chains of sin, Jesus is waiting for you, with open arms. Dear friend, He is able to help, deliver, heal and guide to the right path. From Him comes true joy and peace in your heart because through Jesus God shows you His great love. Did you know that the Creator of the universe, the Holy God, loves you and is interested in what you are going through right now?

When you realize that you need God's love and forgiveness, you can put your trust in what Jesus has done. You can receive him into your life when you turn wholeheartedly to Him.

You can pray like this:
“Dear Heavenly Father! I come before You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. I confess that I have sinned against You, my neighbors and myself and it has broken my connection with You. I regret it all and I want to apologize for my sins.

“Forgive me and let me turn away from my sins. Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins and forgiving my sins. Thank you Father for accepting me as a child of God and giving me a new life."

I accept You, Jesus, as my Saviour, Redeemer and Lord of my life. Guide my life from now on, so that I may once come to You in heaven. Amen."

Bible tells:
Say the welcoming word to God—“Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. Romans 10:9 (the MSG)

Here is the beginning of a new life. You have been reconciled with God, and you are in living relatioship with Him. To get to know Him better, you can do this:

1. Give control to Jesus
Jesus is now the Lord of your life, and that means you obey Him and live under His guidance. Read the Bible: you can start with the New Testament more specifically the Gospel of John. Let God speak to your heart through the Bible. Read it praying that the Holy Spirit will open its text and message to you. The Bible is a living word, and as you will soon notice, it really works!

2. Communicate to God in prayer
It pleases God that you are genuine before Him. You can talk to God just like you would talk to your best friend. He answers, and talks to you too. God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. You will learn to hear His voice as you spend time reading the Bible and praying.

3. Make contact to other believers
We need each other on the path of live for encouragement, support, growth and learning. All belivers should participate in church events so that they can grow in their relationship with God together with other believers. So don't be left out. 4. Tell others about your faith in God
Let the new life - love and care - also be transmitted to other people in words and actions. When you live in connection with God, others notice a change in you. God has given us the privilege of telling others about His love and goodness!
