Prayer is an essential part of church life. On Wednesdays we gather together in a night of Word and Prayer and on Monday afternoons in an Hour of Prayer.

We encourage and empower our youth to grow in the Lord!
Children and youth are very important in our church and we know that the Lord is working among the next generation and He is doing something really significant!
We have a lot of projects and activities for kids and youth. There is Sunday school (the dates of Sunday school are in the calender), games nights, film nights and Bible studies, there are K-10 nights and summer camps. At Ruksa there is a kid’s play corner available for younger kids.
The Sunday school comprises two age groups: kids of age 3-6 and 7-12. When there is no Sunday school, kids are warmly welcome to attend the service with the adults.
The Sparks club – exercise is fun!
The gym hours for school aged kids at Hakametsä school hall approximately every other Sunday at 16-17, at Tammitie 8, Uusikaupunki. Welcome to join us! You can see the dates of playing games in Juniors’ calendar on this page. The Sparks also has a project to develop skills in the crafts workshop.

Sunday services start at 11 or 17, check the calendar for further information. The main part of the service is the sermon/teaching of the Bible and sometimes the teaching is followed by group discussions. All our services include prayer and music.
Our Heavenly Father has blessed Ruksa family with a lot of people gifted in music. The styles vary from more traditional hymns to the rhythms of Black Gospel.
There are sometimes music services, too.
An open-for-all Israel related ministry group named Jad Esra gathers together once a month at Ruksa. We support holocaust survivors in the city of Rishon LeTsion, a city which we pray for continually.
Spreading the Good News to all mankind is a part of Jesus’ mission command (Mark 16:15). We also take part in outreaches downtown as well as joint projects with other congregations in the city.
